Anastasia Alt '10 is a junior at Columbia College, double majoring in Economics and American Studies. This past summer, Anastasia joined Lehman Brothers as a summer analyst in its Sophomore Rotational Program, as well as Fidelity Investments as an Equity Research Associate. In the past, she has worked for UBS in the Private Wealth Management division, as well as at JCK Partners L.P., a hedge fund in midtown Manhattan, as a summer research analyst.  

On campus, Anastasia is involved with Smart Woman Securities, founding the Columbia University chapter in 2007 and serving as Chief Executive officer. She is the President of Columbia Women’s Business Society and a member of Kappa Alpha Theta, serving as the chapter's Alumnae Relations Chair. From New York City originally, Anastasia is involved with local charities, including the Achilles Track Club, the Double Discovery Center, and the Mercy Center. Going forward, Anastasia intends to pursue a career in equity investing and to continue to promote women’s business networks through out the world.

 

 

 

Cindy Guan '10 is a junior planning to do a joint major in Economics/Statistcs. Originally from Shanghai, she moved to New York City when she was 6 and has lived there ever since, graduating from Stuyvesant High School in 2006. In addition to being one of the members of the Columbia Chapter founding family, she also serves as treasurer for the Columbia Economics Society and as events coordinator for the Multicultural Business Association. This past summer, she interned at JPMorgan Chase in the retail financial services division. In addition to her academic and professional interests, Cindy enjoys sketching, graphic design and movies.

 

 

 

 

Stephanie Hwang '10 is a SWS Columbia Founding Partner studying Operations Research: Engineering and Management Systems and Economics. Originally from Potomac, Maryland, Stephanie graduated from Churchill High School ’06, where she was the captain of the Varsity Cheerleading Squad and Student Government Vice President. At Columbia, in addition to SWS, she is also involved in the Undergraduate Recruitment Committee, Columbia University Dance Marathon Steering Committee, and Kappa Alpha Theta. Last summer, she interned in the Global Strategic Accounts department at Thomson Financial in New York City, and hopes to pursue a career in finance in the future. She loves friends, cooking, movie nights, dance parties,  and smiling.

 

 

 

 

 

Sue Yang '10 is a member of the Columbia College Class of 2010 studying Middle East Languages and Cultures. She joined the founding team of Columbia's SWS chapter to gain knowledge in personal finance and investing while helping other women do the same. Sue also serves as class vice-president, a Columbia head delegate to Ivy Council, a member of the Undergraduate Recruitment Committee, and as a board member of the Economics Society.
